my "aha!" moment

I am a dedicated podcaster.

When I decided that I was going to be financially free, it only makes sense that I would turn to my best friend, Spotify, for help. I fell down the rabbit hole of NFTs, stocks, bonds, Bitcoin, you name it. And practically every investment required something I didn't have.

Money.

The horror. To be financially stable, I would have to make lots and lots of money, probably by selling my soul to the very corporations I was trying to escape. 

In despair I roamed the uncharted (highly rated) waters of self-help gurus and the ominous "white guy with a podcast" until finally I found it. Becca Luna. Here was a self-made woman teaching others how to use their website design talents to bring success to themselves and others. I had a choice to make.

I invested in myself.

This shouldn't have been a novel idea, but I had never considered it before. In all my scrimping and saving, I had never considered that I was a good investment. With my new realization, I pushed through legal documents, school, getting an LLC, establishing an online presence, until finally I made it here. My own web design business, Nix Design Solutions.
